Credits and licenses

Most of the symbols in the library are Mulberry Symbols, copyright 2018 to 2026 Steve Lee, shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license (CC BY-SA 4.0).

The child and older-adult figures, and the break and calm symbols (pause, a person raising a hand, a couch and lamp, and a person sitting calmly), come from OpenMoji, the open-source emoji and icon project, shared under CC BY-SA 4.0.

For many people and body symbols we made copies in other skin tones by changing the skin colors only. Those changed copies are shared under the same license, CC BY-SA 4.0, and you may reuse them on those terms. A board you make with the symbols is your own work. The license applies to the symbols themselves.

Boards made before October 2026 may still show a few symbols from Tawasol Symbols by Mada Center. We no longer offer them in the library, and they stay only so that existing boards keep working.
