What You Can Do

Up to 12 steps

Add, remove and drag steps into order. A short morning routine or a whole school day both fit.

List or side by side

Run the steps down the page, or across it for a wall strip. Numbers on the steps are optional.

Tap to check off

Try it in the preview, or start a full-screen session. The learner taps the current step to check it off, and the next one lights up.

Print, share or use on a tablet

Print it with an empty box beside each step, or send a link that starts a session.

Make One in Three Steps

  1. 1.Add the steps. Write a word and add a clear picture for each step of the routine.
  2. 2.Choose a layout. A list for a wall or binder, or side by side for a strip.
  3. 3.Print it or use it. Print and laminate, or open it on a tablet and check steps off as they happen.

Common Questions

Is it free?
Yes. You can build and print boards for free without an account. Free prints and PDFs include a small watermark, and Pro removes it, saves your boards to your account, and makes photo search unlimited.
What is a visual schedule?
A set of pictures, in order, that shows what will happen. Seeing the steps helps many learners feel calm about what comes next and move through a routine with less prompting.
How is it different from a first/then board?
A first/then board shows one task and what follows it. A visual schedule shows the whole sequence, so it fits routines and longer parts of the day.
How does the check-off work?
In Preview or a full-screen session, tapping the current step checks it off and highlights the next. Tapping the last finished step takes it back, and steps further ahead do nothing, so nothing gets skipped by accident.
